How to choose bridal bangles

A bridal stack is usually built in three layers: a base of solid-colour bangles (red, maroon or the colour of your lehenga), a few statement pieces with kundan or stone work, and a kada at each end to hold the stack together. If you are buying a ready set, check how many pieces it has and whether it is meant for one hand or both.

  • Match the outfit, not just the colour. Heavy zari work pairs well with gold plated and kundan; a pastel lehenga looks lovely with meenakari.
  • Size matters more for brides. A full stack feels tighter than a single bangle, so if you are between two sizes, choose the bigger one.
  • Order early. Give yourself time before the wedding for delivery and for any exchange.

Questions about bridal bangles

Which size should a bride order?

Measure a bangle that already fits you comfortably and match it with our size guide. Because a bridal stack sits close together, most brides go one size up if they are in between.
